Simpson County Legion Lake
Fishing and motorboat facilities, camping, and great picnic area.
McNair Springs
Natural spring flows through the park, nature trail, pavilion, and
two lighted baseball/softball fields, ideal for reunions.
Private Country Club
Golfing, swimming and tennis are available.
Simpson County YMCA
Olympic size swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, baseball/softball fields,
large clubhouse. The city and the YMCA offer summer programs for various age groups
including baseball, softball, football, soccer, tennis and basketball.
Magee City Park
Three lighted tennis courts, three lighted baseball fields, picnic area and walking
track. Three new lighted tennis courts under construction and a skating rink is available.
New Ballfield Complex
Four new lighted ballfields, with eight batting cages, large concession multipurpose
building is scheduled for completion in April.
Arts and Entertainment
Magee has a large school auditorium and local arts theatre group. Also available is a
three-screen movie cinema. A new modern civic center provides space for meetings with
various civic clubs and other organizations. The civic center has complete modern
kitchen facilities and was built through a public and private partnership.
